I fully agree.
They may have some material education.
But Indian guys working here are third class fellows.
Arrogant, low tendencies, flase values etc.
They don't even mix with other Indians and think they are in Heaven or some thing.Don't worry if they loose their GCc.
These guys are unworthy of gettings GCs.

For the 2005 numbers, I approximated, using Appendix A on page CRS-22, which covered the top 50 countries sending immigrants and that was around 87% of the total.
Sorry - I can't currently access the report you quote your oringinal figures from at the beginning of your quote. Are these numbers of total immigration, or immigration in the highly skilled category?

Hi pd_recapturing, I am glad you understood my post clearly. I understand your point as well. Determining whether a company/employee is indulging in fraud or not is quite difficult if not impossible. I would suggest we start with reporting companies we know people work for and have negative experiences/comments about. It would mean reporting them based on anecdotal evidence but what else do we have as a starting point? I also know website reviews might not be very reliable since some disgruntled employee might post exaggerated comments about a company which might be following all the rules. But in general, we do know from colleagues/friends their experiences about employers who have sketchy credentials. Even TCS, Infosys indulge many times in L1 fraud as I have noticed. All I am asking for is better scrutiny by the USCIS at an earlier stage like PERM so such fraud applications can be removed.
I do not wish the genuine employees any ill will (certainly not) but I would like the fraud ones out of the system. Let's brainstorm more and we might have some success in cleaning out the queue of such frauds. Thanks for your insight.

Its funny how some so called indian "newspapers" like siliconIndia are very religious to echo the "statements" and "Sentiments" of these people from other countries. Again, this article states "it is said...bla bla", they are talking as though it has become an epidemic and all the billion plus people from India are gonna follow to their greener pastures. You have so many people on dole on a small island, it's a natural progression that they try to find other avenues for making money. If you/spouse have actually travlled outside the US and re-entered using the Advanced parole, then your "Manner of Last Entry" is "Parolee". If not then it is what it says on your I-94 (H1B or H4).
You do **NOT** need the $80 Biometric fee for the Advanced Parole.

I got approval email too. It cant be sheer luck that so many people are getting the approvals when it was taking 3 months as per their published processing times. Looks to me they just want to give 1 yr EAD to as many as possible. Good way to make money in recession year.

Do not give misleading information. When you do the transfer the original visa is not cancelled. In fact you can have more than one H1B at the same time and work for them. For example two part time jobs for different employers. But the only catch you should always work only for the sponsoring company. If you decide not to join them at all, you can do so. But you have to maintain the status thru your current employement or another employer.

As I have mentioned before, you may have multiple sponsors but one of the sponsors should be primary and you work full time with him or the minimum number of hours per week as per LC. other one could be part time. But there needs to be 2 seperate independent I-129's filed by both employers for you to do this.
