Don't just blurt something out of frustration without thinking twice before hitting the "Submit" button. We are all frustrated here when it comes to GC processing. In that sense we are all in the SAME BOAT. Be specific about the point you are trying to make instead of blanketing all H1B and GC aspirants so that its not confusing or misleading to others.
Well,If you think that it was a cheap attempt, then i belive you need tutoring in english first, i would have appreciated if you would have read the full documents first, if you are not in the same boat as others doesnot means that others are not, there are still many H1 holders whose spouse doesnot have a SSN and only ITIN, and i am not over or below quoting the statement made by IRS.

Can somebody explain me why this disco guy and this Villamonte guy are even on this forum ??? We are sitting here for 9-10 years telling our folks in our home countries, I'll come in may, no probably july, no in july my papers goes for renewals,, may be Dec. no in Dec. tickets are too expensive and in March I have my project live date, may be next may oh no by then I'll have to send my papers for renewal.... well you know what, forget about me, you stay happy where you are and I live happily here....

Any one got a chance to look at the statistics of BECS, I read only 33% of the applications are certified so far . I think its a good thing ..

Fedup is an understatement. Zero accountability. After moving dates to 2006 now dates go back to 2003????????? Last year it started with date being at Apr 2004 and this year starts with Apr 2003????? This is beyond ridiculous!!!aaaaaaarrrghhhhhhhhhh.
P.S Its wrong to tell that guys with MS are getting their GC's before others. I have one and so do many others I know. There is no order guys...........

i thing this will have the opposite impact...these companies will not file because it will become cost prohibitive....so the question is ...where will the money really come from?

I contributed $100 by Paypal and sent out an eamil to about 15 of my friends who are in the same boat as I am. My email mentioned everything IV is trying to achieve and encouraged them to contribute too. I hope atleast a few of them will come forward.
If all of us contributing can email our friends and encourage them to do the same - that might help contributions pour in faster.

Their problems doesn't make me smile here. I want solutions to my problems.
I couldn't agree more, how come any immigration rules in britan should have any thing do with USCIS ? any time we have a problem with USCIS or in general US policy there are few people who want to jump in and comapre the rules and other stuff with rest of the world. This is not how an issue should looked at people came here because they thought this country encourages immigrants what I want see is let this country talk the talk and walk the walkif they don't want to give green cards or fix H1b porblems just say we no longer need any immigrants we have gained every thing we want from the immigrants and we are ok now when we need talent and work force we will call everybody , I am sick of this I could go on but .....

My 485 had soft LUD on 2/27/09. Although, my husband's dependent application dint have one.

Since your PD is June 2003, you could have applied in June 2007 because in June Visa bulletin(released in May ) it moved till April 2004.
This is too good to be true.. How could you apply in June if you are Eb3 with PD Sept 2003? The PD was'nt current in June. Also, how did your 140 get approved in less than a month? Premium Processing was'nt there in July...
I have a PD of Sep 2003. I filed my labor in Nebraska in Sep 2003 and state labor got cleared in a week and federal took 2 weeks. I had my Labour on Oct 2nd. I filed for my 140 and recd approval in 3 months. I had to wait for my 485 filing as I wanted to file it with my spouse who was out of country at that time. Rest of the details are in my signature.
BTW, those who are stuck in BEC's my sympathies are with you, its just pure bad luck your cases got stuck in there. PERM or no PERM this whole GC thing is just matter of timing.
As for the original post I dont understand the reason for the ah's and ooh's here. The original poster please correct the mistake here, gcpadmavyuh is right, you could not have applied for 485 in June if you had PD of sep 2003. You could have applied for your 485 as early as March 2005 when the PD dates retrogressed.

Well that's hard to find because in India even villages have better communication system these days. They all use cell phones since govt could not provide land lines. Internet is definitely all over the place.
